These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and InstallerCCTV (“InstallerCCTV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for use of https://www.installercctv.com (the “Site”) and for any product you order from us on the Site.

By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or place an order.

Our listings on Amazon, eBay, or other marketplaces are sold under those platforms’ rules as well as any terms posted there.

We are a distributor of CCTV and surveillance hardware (cameras, cables, power supplies, multiplexers, and accessories). We are not a licensed alarm company, we do not monitor cameras, and we do not provide installation unless we separately agree in writing.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract to buy from the Site.

You may check out as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential and for all activity under the account. Tell us right away at info@installercctv.com if you think someone else used your account.

We may refuse an account or an order, or close an account, if we reasonably believe these Terms are being abused (for example fraud, resale scams, or abusive returns).

3. Products, descriptions, and pricing

We try to describe products accurately (specifications, compatibility, photos, and price). CCTV parts vary by firmware, DVR/NVR brand, cable run, and power draw. We do not warrant that a product will work with every third-party camera, recorder, or accessory unless the product page says so.

Photos are for illustration. Color, finish, and included accessories may differ slightly from the photo. If a product page and a photo conflict, the written description on the product page controls.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time before we accept your order. We may correct pricing, tax, or shipping errors. If we have already charged you and cannot fulfill at the stated price, we will cancel that item and refund you.

A “sale,” “regular price,” or strikethrough price is the price we recently offered or the list price we assign. It is not a representation of a third-party market price.

We may limit quantities. Stock shown on the Site can change. “Out of Stock” items cannot be purchased until they are restocked.

4. Orders and acceptance

When you submit an order, you are offering to buy the products. We accept the order when we send an order confirmation and process payment. We may cancel or refuse an order (including after confirmation) if the item is out of stock, we cannot verify payment, we detect fraud, we cannot ship to the address, or the order appears to contain an obvious error.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier picks up the package. You are responsible for providing a complete, deliverable shipping address and for any access codes or receiving instructions.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (including PayPal, Apple Pay, and card payments processed through our store’s payment provider). You authorize us and those providers to charge the full order total, including tax and shipping.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method. If a charge is reversed or fails, we may cancel the order and recover the goods or the amount due.

Do not send card numbers by email.

6. Shipping

Details are also posted on our Shipping Policy page. If that page and these Terms ever conflict on a shipping detail, the shipping policy page controls for that detail.

  • We ship to the continental United States only from this Site. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international addresses from this checkout.

  • International customers should use our eBay store: https://www.ebay.com/str/installercctv

  • Orders are processed within 1 business day. We do not ship or deliver on weekends or U.S. holidays.

  • Carriers may include USPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx SmartPost, and UPS Ground.

  • Delivery is typically 3–5 business days after the order ships. If there will be a significant delay, we will contact you by email or phone.

  • We email the tracking number to the address on the order.

  • Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout. Any “free delivery” message depends on the destination and the items in the cart. It is not a guarantee of a specific calendar day.

  • Refused, unclaimed, or incorrectly addressed packages may be returned to us. Reshipping and extra carrier fees are your responsibility unless the error was ours.

7. Returns, exchanges, and refunds

Details are also posted on our Refund Policy page. If that page and these Terms ever conflict on a return detail, the refund policy page controls for that detail.

  • Most products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date the order ships.

  • Clearance / final-sale items are not eligible for return.

  • The product must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging, with all parts, manuals, and accessories.

  • If we receive a return that is incomplete, used, missing parts, or not in original condition, we may refuse it or deduct a restocking fee of 20% of the product price.

  • We do not refund freight or shipping charges unless we shipped the wrong item or a defective item and you followed the RMA process.

  • We may refuse any item that is physically damaged or noticeably misused.

How to return (RMA required)

  1. Email info@installercctv.com (or use our RMA form) before you ship anything back. Tell us the order number, SKU, and reason.

  2. Wait for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  3. Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping box. We will refuse packages that arrive without an RMA number on the box.

  4. You pay return shipping unless we tell you otherwise (for example we sent the wrong item).

Refunds go to the original payment method after we inspect the return.

8. Defective items and limited warranty

If a product page states a specific warranty, that statement controls for that product.

If the product page does not state a longer warranty, we warrant that the product will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days after delivery. Your exclusive remedy, at our choice, is repair, replacement, or refund of the amount you paid for that product (excluding shipping, except where law requires otherwise).

This limited warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, incorrect voltage, use outside the product’s rating, modification, misuse, incompatible third-party equipment, normal wear, or clearance / as-is items.

Security equipment disclaimer. Our products are hardware components. They are not a guarantee that a property will be safe from theft, intrusion, fire, or any other event. We do not provide monitoring, police dispatch, or professional installation. You are responsible for choosing compatible parts, for a correct installation (or hiring a qualified installer), and for complying with recording and privacy laws where you use the product.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSTALLERCCTV AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM A SECURITY INCIDENT, THEFT, OR FAILURE OF A CAMERA, RECORDER, CABLE, OR POWER SUPPLY TO DETECT, RECORD, OR PREVENT AN EVENT.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR TO A PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR, IF THE CLAIM IS NOT ABOUT A PRODUCT, FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS).

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS. YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose; scrape or interfere with the Site; post false reviews or content you do not have the right to post; use any product to violate recording or privacy laws; or resell opened/used products as new in a misleading way.

We may remove reviews or other content that is unlawful, off-topic, or abusive.

11. Reviews and other content you submit

If you submit a review, photo, question, or other content, you give InstallerCCTV a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content on the Site and in our marketing, with the name you provided. You represent that the content is accurate and that you have the right to grant this license.

12. Intellectual property

The Site design, logos, product photos we created, and written copy are owned by InstallerCCTV or our licensors. Product names of other brands are used only to describe compatibility and do not mean those brands are affiliated with us.

13. Third-party services and links

Checkout uses Wix and third-party payment providers. Shipping uses independent carriers. Links to Amazon, eBay, or social media are not under our control.

14. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Electronic communications

When you use the Site or email us, you agree to receive electronic communications about your account and orders. Email and on-site notices satisfy any requirement that communications be in writing.

16. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, weather, outages, labor disputes, or supply shortage.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Please contact us first at info@installercctv.com. If we cannot resolve the issue, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, except that either of us may use small-claims court if the claim qualifies.

If you are a consumer, nothing here limits non-waivable rights in your home state.

18. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version and changing the “Last updated” date. The new Terms apply to orders placed after they are posted.

19. General

If a court finds a part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Shipping Policy, and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and Site orders.
